Guest blog from Balfour Beatty: Digital Resources

In this months guest blog, we catch up with Balfour Beatty, who were awarded the construction contract for Phase 3 of the East Leeds Orbital Route by Leeds City Council to construct a 7km ring road, junctions and structures.

To raise awareness of careers in the construction and engineering sector to young people, Balfour Beatty have produced a series of short, real life, videos showcasing employees on site talking about their roles, how they got started in the construction sector and the best bits about their job.

These online resources have already been visited by over 4000 young people across the UK and allow them the opportunity to find out more about the diverse roles available in construction and experience what working on a construction site is like, even though they are not able to visit the site during lockdown.
