  • You must be aged 19+ and live in West Yorkshire
  • You must have completed L2 Hybrid and be working within a related industry.  
  • You must be available to attend all specified days and undertake the assessment.

Overview/summary of training

This qualification covers the competence and knowledge to safely carry out the removal and replacement of components in isolated high voltage systems in an electric vehicle. High voltage systems include the powertrain and ancillary systems. This qualification also ensures that you are aware of the effect that high voltage component technology has on other vehicle systems. 

This qualification is designed for people looking to develop their knowledge and skills to allow you to safely carry out the removal and replacement of components on electric vehicle systems. 

What next?

The course will allow progression within the sector and enable you to gain more employment and increased responsibilities and work with the automotive sector. Furthermore, the you could progress onto an apprenticeship course.
