Kickstart your career in Unreal Engine! Learn practical and organisation skills which will help you find a career in the games industry. 

This is a Skills Bootcamp in Event Production  and will be in-person and instructor led. Instructors are industry professionals with expect knowledge and experience to ensure the course is suitable and offers learners the most in depth learning possible over the duration.

Course provider: Academy of Live Technology


  • Applicants must be aged 19 or older:
    • on or before 31st August 2023 for Skills Bootcamps starting between 01 April 2024 and 31st July 2024
    • on or before 31st August 2024 for Skills Bootcamps starting between 01 August 2024 and 31st March 2025
  • Employed, Self-Employed and Unemployed participants are eligible. 
  • Applicants must have the right to legally reside and work in the UK. 
  • Applicants must reside in West Yorkshire  
  • Applicants must not be in full time education or undertaking an apprenticeship at the time of joining. 
  • Applicants must not have undertaken a Skills Connect course in the past (an individual can only receive funding for one course) 
  • Applicants must commit to liaising with training provider for up to six months after course completion to confirm career progression. 
  • Applicants who are accessing a fully funded training opportunity must confirm their intention to access a new job role with a new employer at the point of enrolling on to the course.

Duration: 5 Weeks + 6-month employment support.
